The lightest wheel – 2,7 kilograms
Weds Sports, a Japanese wheels producer made the lightest wheel, made out of carbon fiber. It is completely realized with this material.

Until now, carbon fiber hasn’t been completely used for making a wheel, being combined with magnesium. Because of that, standard wheels were pretty heavy – 5 kg. But the Japanese guys did it! As the press release was saying, a new technology of carbon fiber dry application was used, a technology that makes the wheel be very light and very resistant. So, you if you have 12,000$ to buy the entire set please tell us how it feels on road.
