Renault Laguna ActiveDrive

After a comparative drivetest made by the engineers from Renault, the new Laguna GT which is equipped with a directing rear axle has proven to have a better maneuverability than a Porsche Boxter S.

The reason for choosing the Porsche Boxter S for this comparative drivetest and not a direct competitor from the middle class is unknown. Still, the advantages of the ActiveDrive system, which also steers the rear wheels, are very impressive. All these not only at high speeds and dangerous situations, but also on tight spaces, and low speeds.

Renault Laguna is only equipped with this system on the GT version, but with the next coupe models, the ActiveDrive will be a standard. The good news is that Renault is going to implement this technology on all its new models, including the Megane 3.
