Paul Newman dies at 83
After a career of more than 50 movies and tens of thousands of miles on the track, actor Paul Newman died because
of lung cancer at the age of 83 years.
One of the legends of the American cinema, Paul Newman made a passion for auto races in 1968, when making the movie called “Winning”. As an evidence that he wasn’t only a Sunday driver, in 1979 he obtained the second place at LeMans, driving a Porsche 935. In the ’80s he created a racing team Newman/Haas, in the US CART championship but he has also participated in numerous other races, where we won. Remains a legend and a true idol for the motorsport fans. God rest his soul!
