Lotus Clark 25 Elise - limited edition
Lotus has launched a limited edition of only 50 models, named Lotus Clark Type-25 Elise, for motor sports fans who still remember the British legend, Jim Clark.
Although Lotus initially limited this special edition at only 25 models for the England and Ireland markets, the company announced that more 25 Lotus Clark Type-25 Elise models will be made for the other European markets as well. The base model is a Lotus Elise SC which received some modifications, such as the green paint with the yellow stripe in the middle or the number on the car’s side, these reminding about the Lotus F1, model that was driven by Jim Clark when he won the title of world champion.
A Lotus Clark Type-25 Elise model will cost 65.000 euro in Europe. Part of the money will be sent tot he Memorial Fund Jim Clark, a special man that died at the age of 32 because of an accident on the endurance circuit “1000 km Brand Hatch”.
