Land speed record: 1000 mph
This is the record that two veterans in the domain of speed want to exceed. In order to achieve this huge goal it will be used a vehicle that has an engine with pistons which is also helped by a turbine. The creation made by Andry Green and Richard Noble seems to be a technology miracle.
This beast weights 6.4 tons and has a length of 12.8 meters. The first test will take place next year, the target being 800 mph. A year later they will try to beat 900 mph and in 2011, if everything goes according to the plan, a new land speed record will be announced: 1000 mph.
