C-cactus concept will become the new Citroen 2CV

The German press is intensely speculating the comebkac of the legendary Citroen 2CV, but this is nothing new, because even since production was stopped in 1990, rumors were heard almost every year.

Still, if we take into account the fact that the legendary car is turning 60 years old this spring, there might be some truth in these rumors this year.

The ones who started this rumor are sure that at the Auto Show in Paris this year a new concept will be unveiled, which is equipped with a 3 cillinder engine, from the C1. The thing is that this engine is produced by Toyota, which raises a few question marks, but there’s no reason for buyers not to greet this retro mini with enthusiasm, after the MINI and Fiat 500 have has such a great success.

In the same time, there are rumors that the new Citroen 2CV will have some elements from the C-cactus concept, which was unveiled last year in Frankfurt.
