BMW will present at the Geneva auto show a hybrid concept based on the X5 SUV, named Vision Efficient Dynamics. This is the second prototype of its kind, after BMW X6 Hybrid, which derives from the new coupe looking SUV, which was presented at Detroit.

The new BMW prototype combines the new turbodiesel turbine with 4 cylinders of 2 liters with a new generator-engine which, for the first time, is mounted on a 8 step automatic gear box, and powered by a series of li-ion batteries.
Apart from these, the German SUV is also equipped with a regeneration system of the energy resulted from the breaking force.
The 2 liter engine from the BMW X5 Vision gives a maximum power of 304 HP and a torque of 400 Nm, available between 2000 and 2500 rpm, while the electric turbine generates and additional 20 HP and 210 Nm of torque.

According to BMW, the concept X5 vision Efficient Dynamics reaches 100km/h in only 8.9 seconds and the fuel consumption is only 6.5L/100km, while the emissions level has the value of 172gr/km.
Apart from the hybrid system, which is named ActiveHybrid, the X5 Vision is also equipped with a series of solar panels with a total surface of 1 square meter.

Lorinser has at least two new innovations prepared for the second most important auto show of the year: a combi C-Klasse based on the 320 CDI version and a much more interesting SL, named Nardo3, equipped with a biturbo V12 engine, which is capable of 660HP. Here is the latest news.

We’ll skip over the familiar details, and we’ll only say that, besides the usual modification brought to the car’s aesthetics, the power of the V6 3.2l propulsor has increased from 224 HP to 261 HP, and we’ll talk a little about the “problem” of the coupe-cabriolet based on the SL600/65 AMG, whose V12 engine has 47 more horsepower than the official Mercedes tuner.
The torque has increased only by a little (1.013Nm), which is still enough to make the people at Lorinser to want to keep the electronic speed limiter at a level of 325km/h, which is the maximum speed that can be reached in order not to damage the transmission. Obviously, the car will stand out in the crowd, thanks to the body kit that includes bumpers and new wheels. Still, you mustn’t expect to see it at any time or anywhere: only 50 nardo3 cars will be built.

The paint used for this car incorporates a gold dust that offers the little 500 not only worth, but an extravagant look too. The interior design continues the extravagant style: cashmere rugs, Alcantara leather, and Swarowski crystals for the gear box and handbrake.
