The concept that celebrates 40 years of existence of the design house “Giugiaro” it is simply called “Quaranta”. At this moment there are only partial images with it.

From the few images with this new concept, it is clear that the “Quaranta” label comes from the 1960s-1970s, the car looks like a concept of that years, when all the lines and brutality were characteristic for a supersport car. There is no information about the technical platform that Quaranta is based on, but we tend to say that under the body we find Ferrari’s or Maserati’s pedigree.

Inspired by the Italians, the Germans from Geiger have focused on the American Model Corvette Z06, thus creating the special edition GeigerCars Corvette Z06 Black Edition.
The exterior modifications to the special edition GeigerCars Corvette Z06 Black Edition have only been made on the backend of the car, the resemblence between some of its elements and the Ferrari 599 and F430 models being quite obvious. The new car from Geiger has a spoiler which includes aerodynamic speakers, optic blocks with the LED technology and chromed exhaust pipes.

The major modifications have been made under the car’s hood: the power of the 7 liter V8 propulsor has been increased to 512 HP by using sport air filters, moifying the exhaust system and resofting the engine control unit (ECU). The car reaches 100 km/h in only 3.9 seconds, and the top speed is 320 km/h. The price for this car starts from 89.900 euro.

One week before the world debut which will take place at Geneva, the first official photos with the future Opel Meriva Concept have appeared on different internet websites.

This prototype, which precedes the future generation of Meriva minivans, has some innovative technologies that have been prepared for monovolumes.
Among these we’ll mention the side windows which, together with the panoramic windshield, give the impression of a giant glass cupola.
Also, the Meriva Concept has a unique system for opening the doors, named FlexDoors, which, besides the conventional front doors, has back doors which open backwards, like the Rolls Royce ones for example.
FlexDoors is caracterised by the fact that the back doors can open independently, even if the front ones are closed. Also, the back doors can be opened at a 90 degrees angle, which allows the existence of a dynamic and spacious cockpit.

Regarding the interior, Opel uses the FLEX7 seat system, which is already being used on the Zafira model, and the concept FlexSpace. Still, the final interior design is far from its final shape.

The old Belgian brand, Imperia, will be reborn from its ashes like the Pheonix, when the Imperia GP Concept will see the light of day.
The design of Imperia GP Concept combines old school design with the modern one, the general image of the concept being very similar to the one used by Morgan or Weismann.

Imperia GP’s propulsion will be offered by a 2 liter V4 engine, which outputs 176 HP and a 136 HP electric engine. The recharge time for the Li-Polimer batteries is only 4 hours, when they are plugged in a conventional 220V socket. The hybrid system, PowerHybrid, with which the Imperia Gp will be equipped, will allow the batteries to recharge even when the car is running, when the hybrid mode is being used. Using the electric propulsion mode, the car has an autonomy of 60 km, and the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 7.1 seconds. In hybrid mode, the necessary time for reaching 100 km/h is only 4.8 seconds.
