This concept car is called Bentley Continental GTZ, and the general look of the car suggests a blend between Bentley and the classic Zagato design. This concept is based on the Continental GT Speed, from which it uses the basic mechanics. Still, the changes are important. Zagato Atelier has fitted an unique two-tone body, that is painted in a classic British racing green. What is more, Zagato included their signature on the contrasting roof in medium silver. Among other modifications we’ll specify: sharply-creased fenders, an elegant tail and a curvy rear window.

All in all, this car will probably look fabulous, so we’ll show you a set of pictures for you to admire.

Even though K1 makes lots of people think about violent fights in the ring, the special Seat Leon Cupra K1 edition was created for celebrating the succesful model Seat Sport BTCC, which will compete again in 2008 in the British competition – so this is why this edition is dedicated to the British.

The car has a 2 liter TSI engine which has 240HP, the most powerful engine ever mounted on a Seat Leon. The body kit, includes the well known spoilers which have massive air sockets, central oval exhaust and a racing rear flap.

The 18 inch wheels come in two cromatic versions, black or white, while the package of options which includes directional Bi-Xenon headlights is cheaper. Actually, in England, the price for this special edition is only 20.495 British pounds, with only 1.000 more than a Seat Leon Cupra.

Magna Steyr MILA Alpine Concept

Magna Steyr, a builder from Austria, is involved in the construction of the BMW X3 or the Jeep Grand Cherokee in Europe, but they will come at the Auto Show in Geneva with their own concept car: MILA Alpine.

Magna Steyr MILA Alpine is a compact off-road car which is very good on rough terrain – it can climb slopes of 45 degrees with ease.

The configuration with a central engine allowed the creation of a simple four by four system, which is efficient, and also has a very good behavior in off-road conditions. The car offers space for 3 + 1 persons, and it can have special functions, as it can be used as an utility truck. The engineers at Magna Steyr say that the car has an excellent maneuverability for such a vehicle.

The propulsion system is a hybrid one, the electric engine being associated with a 3 cylinder engine that is fueled with CNG (compressed natural gas), which leads to emissions of under 100g/km. The light weight of the vehicles also contributes to this performance, the structure being made up of light and rigid materials, with the aim of obtaining low production costs.

Named S5S Raptor, this concept car has at base an ultralight construction and it’s ready to beat 320 km/h but, its nature will help it to be more appreciated by the ecologists than the S7 Twin Turbo beast.

So, we have to deal with a chassis made by aluminum and composites materials, where it will be mounted in the central position a V8 of 5 liters, ready to eat bioethanol.

The whole technological package will be covered with a carbon fiber body kit with a great design, says the Paul Wilbur. The price for this car will start from 150.000 $.

Dacia Logan Dracula by Deswart

The well known tuning houses impress us everytime when they deal with a succesful car model that they turn into a work of art. But, what the engineers from the German tuner Deswart have done with a Dacia Logan is truly outstanding, even if we’re not talking about exaggerated tuning.

On the exterior, the ingeniously named Logan Dracula has been painted in an airbrush style with the specifical legend of the vampire count in Transilvania.

The only specific element to the exterior tuning are the 18 inch wheels, equipped with 225/40 Michelin Pilot tyres. Moreover, the car has the original Dacia logo which has been painted in red, and the model’s name has been taken after the vampire count Dracula.

The most important modifications have been made in the interior, which has a gloomy look, which is given by the blend between Alcantara red leather and dark black. What is more, the car is equipped with Recaro seats, a sport leather drivewheel with a diameter of 320 mm, 5 LCD screens, 350 LED spot lights on the roof, as well as the performant 1.600 Watt Alpine audio system.

By the push of a button on a remote you open the trunk, and with it, a dark smoke comes out which reminds us of the horror mist in Transilvania. And that’s not all… Two coffins have been placed inside the trunk, which were designed by the book.

If you want to buy this unique Dacia Logan, be ready to spend at least 45.000 euro.

Opel GT V8 from Irmscher

front_seitlichsmall.jpgThe well known tuner who specializes in Opel models had already made an interesting tuning of the Ruesselsheim roadster since last summer, when they modified the 2 liter turbo so that it outputs 315 HP (with 60 HP more than the series model), the car being able to reach 100 km/h in under 6 seconds.

This year, though, Irmscher reaches 40 years of activity, and the moment will be celebrated with a really special car: an Opel Gt with a V8 engine!

The car’s proportions – a very big hood in the front and two seats plus a trunk in the last thrird of the car – all invited the tuners to such an operation, but, for the time being, only Irmscher has done it. And how – with a 6 liter V8 engine with 480 HP, that will make you change your mind about Opel.

You will find out more information on the 6th of March, when the car will be oficially launched at Geneva – but you can’t help not thinking about reaching 100 km/h in under 4 seconds.
