Although these are the first official Porsche Panamera pictures, probably at this time the Porsche officials don’t know that their car is on the internet - the first ones who somehow got these impressive pictures are the guys from AutoTelegraaf.


At the moment, this is what we know about the new Porsche Panamera model:
- dimensions: 4.97m long, 1.9m wide, 1.4m tall and a huge wheelbase that measures 2.9m, while the total mass of the car is about 2 tones.
- The equipment will contain almost everything we know from Porsche: electronically controlled air suspension and gear box with double PDK clutch.
- There will be different motorization:
- a V6 of 300 HP
- a V8 of 400 HP
- a turbo V8 of 500 HP
- a Turbo S V8 of 600 HP is programmed to appear soon
- there will definitely be a hybrid motorization, but at the moment the details are not known
The production plan for Porsche Panamera is 20.000 units / year.

160 HP added and 250 kg less at an Audi R8 sounds really good, right? Well, these specifications are found on the special model prepared by PPI Automotive Design, being named Razor GTR.

PPI Automotive Design, not a very popular tuner, will present at the Auto Show from Essen a great custom car called PPI Razor GTR, which technically is a modified Audi R8 . The aim of this project was to improve the aerodynamics and the power of this supercar. So, the German tuners managed to reduce the car’s weight by 250 kg and increase its power to 580 HP. This modifications automatically improved the car’s acceleration, PPI Razor GTR reaching the speed of 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds.

In addition to the technological progresses, Razor GTR is presented with an aerodynamic kit and new body elements which provide a very sharp aspect. Also, in order to facilitate the pressing line, this tuned model gets a huge aileron and a adjustable hydraulic suspension.

The best kept Honda secret has now been presented to the public. A green supercar.

The model named FC Sport is a sport concept car with 3 places, powered by hydrogen extracted through some fuel piles already developed for the FCX Clarity model. These piles are positioned between the back seats, and the electric engine has been placed right in front of the rear deck.

Although Honda has not released pictures with the car’s interior, according to the statements of the Japanese producer, we have a cockpit like the one found on McLaren F1, with a central place for the driver and two seats on the sideways for the passengers.

Opel Insignia has received the distinction of world’s car of the year 2009, awarded by the votes of 59 journalists from 23 countries. The German model, rewarded with 321 points, has exceeded with only one point the second place, which has been taken by Ford Fiesta (320 points).

Insignia is the third model made by Opel who won the title of “Car of the Year”, after Opel Kadett in 1985 and Omega in 1986. The competition this year was the most discussed in the last decade.

Ferrari has always managed to incite world’s designers imagination. This way, a new Ferrari concept comes from Iran, made by the independent designer Siamak Ruhi Dehkordi.

The 33 year old Iranian claims that his concept with a single place, named Zobin, is inspired by the Formula 1 cars and is characterized by an original design which describes a metal structure that integrates the headlights and front spoiler.

Focused on efficiency, Ferrari Zobin is powered by a compact unit positioned in the back.
