ABT is soft on pedestrians
The German tuner pays special attention to its products, so these are tested in order to have the best safety standards in case of a collision with pedestrians.

The frontal aesthetic kits are tested in Cologne by TUV Rheinland Group’s Pedestrian and Passenger Protection Laboratory, and the products of the German builder have passed all the tests successfully. During the tests, the legs of the dummies, which weigh 15 kg, were hit by the A4, A5 and Tiguan models which were equipped with the aesthetic kits from ABT at speed of 40 km/h.
“We are proud that we have had results which are lower than those set by the law. This proves once again that our products meet the highest quality standards”, stated Hans-Jurgen, the representative of ABT. Obviously, this doesn’t mean that the ABT products offer maximum protection for pedestrians, but these tests are necessary since the frontal part can be completely different from that of the series model.
