Volkswagen SP-2 Concept
SP-2 was a coupe sold in Brazil 3 decades ago, and the model we will present you here is a modern interpretation of it.
Bringing to life the old Scirocco stimulated Volkswagen fans to do the same with many other models. This is also the case of Marcelo Rosa, who presents a modern interpretation of a pretty unknown coupe, SP-2. The coupe was powered by a small 4-cylinder engine, boxer, 65 HP, being developed exclusively for the local market.
However, the car was capable to reach 161 km/h and was built in only 10.000 units. Here is a picture of what the car originally looked like:
