Mercedes-Benz – Vision GLK Freeside Concept

Mercedes-Benz produced the first official media kit of the Vision GLK Freeside concept, for Detroit Show. The new compact SUV, having the size of 4.52m long, it’s based on the C-class characteristics.

The GLK production version, which has minor differences than the concept, the wheels are not the same and some minor details are different, will be seen on road this autumn. Vision GLK Freeside it’s equipped with a diesel 2.2L BLUETEC engine, in 4 cylinders and it has the power of 170 HP, combined with an automatic 7G – TRONIC transmission, with 7 speeds and a 4Matic AWD. The GLK production version, which will compete with a BMW X3, Land Rover Freelander and Audi Q5, will have diesel engines in 4 and 6 cylinders.
