Geneva 2008: Mitsubishi Lancer hatchback
Three years ago, Mitsubishi presented a concept version of the Hatchback Lancer, and only one year later they announced that the car will go into series production. Today, the Japanese officials confirmed that they will bring to Geneva a version that is close to the final series one.
In these photos you can see the aggressive design characterized by profiled lines and an imposing attitude. Also, the optic blocks are remarcable and the front/back spoilers with series design, as well as the exhaust system with conventional exhaust pipes.
These images have been published on the internet by the Germans at the Autobuild magazine, mostly because 70% of the sales will be targeted towards the German market.
Lancer hatchback will have the same 2 liter turbo propulsor under the hood, and 240 Hp like the Ralliart version, which will be connected to the double clutch transmission SST. In terms of traction, the car will have four-wheel drive.
