FreightBus concept

This is how public transport will look like in the future, and those who have proposed it state that the technology needed for manufacturing it already exists.

Hugh Frost is the one responsible for this proposal, the concept of an On-Route public transport system being realized on the basis of a vehicle called FreightBus. The basic idea is that the new bus will be capable to transport both passengers and cargo and will be eco-friendly.

The most important part is that this concept will reduce pollution emissions up to 0, and it will be capable to run only on electricity, provided by batteries, fuel based on hydrogen, or even a little 2.0 engine fueled with natural liquefied gas. One electric engine will be implemented at each wheel, so that the transmission will be with 50% more effective.

Frost said that the technology needed for making such a green concept already exists. The bus has a capacity of 150 seats plus 30 euro-pallets, has participated at a competition in London but it hasn’t won. Therefore, it is currently seeking investors.
